Meet Kristen Mingus, the New Executive Director of the Downtown Brentwood Coalition!

Say hello to Kristen Mingus — a passionate connector, community builder, and the newly appointed Executive Director of the Downtown Brentwood Coalition!

Kristen has called Brentwood’s charming Rose Garden neighborhood home for the past four years, and it didn’t take long for her to fall in love with the town’s welcoming spirit and small-town charm. A proud Bay Area native, Kristen was drawn to Brentwood’s strong sense of community — the perfect place for her children to grow, thrive, and make lasting memories.

With a heart for bringing people together and a mind for strategy, Kristen is all about building bridges and sparking engagement through meaningful, inclusive events. Over the past few years, she’s been a driving force behind community involvement at Marsh Creek Elementary and Isaac Montanez Elementary, organizing successful school events and fundraisers. As a board member of the IME Parents Club, she was honored to help launch their inaugural school year in 2024.

Before diving into community work, Kristen built and led a high-performing team at 3Q Digital, a digital marketing agency, managing large-scale events and campaigns for top-tier Fortune 500 companies in Silicon Valley. Kristen is no stranger to the nonprofit space, as she previously held a management position at the Children’s Health Council in Palo Alto. There she supported children on the autism spectrum by overseeing the enrollment process, ensuring smooth program operations and connecting families with the clinic support team. This was one of her most rewarding past roles. She brings that same high energy, creativity, and can-do spirit to her work in Brentwood — fueled by a self-starter mindset and a deep love for connecting with people and local businesses.

When she’s not planning the next big event or championing Downtown Brentwood, you’ll find Kristen giving back to the community, attending city events, supporting small businesses and local foundations, or simply enjoying quality time with her family.

Kristen is thrilled to step into this new role and can’t wait to continue growing the heart of Downtown Brentwood — one connection at a time!

Kirsten will be making the rounds Downtown visiting as many of you to introduce herself and start building relationships with our wonderful, supportive businesses.
